Energy Medicine is not a form of medicine in the sense of what we are familiar with in this culture. Energy Medicine refers to a philosophy that finds its roots in other healing systems from around the world. It includes the perspective of the entire body and how it functions. The premise is:  the body is designed to heal, given what it needs. That can be accomplished safely and effectively any number of ways under the guidance of a skilled professional. We are not doctors; we do not diagnose or prescribe. We assess stress and wellness.

Mike Murphy, creator of Radiokinesis, a modality in which I am trained,  does an excellent job of explaining why energy medicine works, from the perspective of Radiokinesis. Please keep in mind, however, that this material is relevant for every modality listed in the Menu of Services. Take note of how the following excerpts explain the design of the body; how health breaks down; and how it can be restored when an energetic perspective is applied to health care. 

"The human body functions with energy, just like any other element of the world. All plants and animals have an electrical system to make them work and animals have an electrical system to make them work and stay alive. The human body operates with subtle electric energy. Nothing takes place in the body without the brain sending a signal telling it what to do. When the brain sends a signal to a group of cells, the signal is an electric impulses that flows through the meridians. 

Where there is an interruption or blockage in the flow of energy in a meridian, the body parts and tissues located after the event will not receive the electric signal of the brain or receive a weaker transmission, causing disruption to the cells and damaging the affected body parts. Without maintaining the integrity of the meridians, the body is thrown out of balance. This is similar to an interruption in the blood flow to the hand due to a tourniquet applied to the elbow.  In this case, if the tourniquet is not removed, the hand will grow weak and eventually the tissue will die.

When energy in the meridian is interrupted or the flow is reduced, it is necessary to carry out steps to repair the meridian circuit and eliminate the interruption or blockage, thus allowing the energy to fullyflow to the affected body parts. In order to eliminate the interruption or blockage, it is necessary to have a tool that will amplify, bridge, reroute or tune the energy.

Radiokinesis is based on the use of muscle testing to understand and map the various wavelengths and frequencies in and around the body, to determine the location of the breakage in the communication between the brain and its alining body parts, and support their correction interconnection and energy flow.

Foreign elements entering the body, such as viruses, bacteria and allergens, have their own frequency and vibration which are all foreign to the brain. Because the brain cannot effectively communicate with the unknown vibrations, it will typically order the removal of the foreign vibration from the body, via the body's mechanisms of defense.
